Despite its age, this game offers some great Star Trek fun! Best of all, you can play it for free!
Take on the role of captain aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise and embark on a series of adventures that will challenge your piloting and command skills. TNG offers dynamically generated missions that will keep you busy all over the Alpha quadrant. You give orders to the crew, check with them for advice and reports, and take over controls to fly the Enterprise yourself in combat.
I can now see where they got a lot of the inspiration for Bridge Commander, or at least that is how it appears, and this is a good thing.
