This game would get a perfect 10 except for the cover system.
I enjoyed the tougher fights toward the end, but this also exposed the relative weakness in the cover system compared to Gears. On far too many occasions I would end up not taking cover or sticking to the wrong side of a box. The use of two separate buttons for cover and vaulting continued to plague me as well. Overall, though, the combat was both fun and satisfying.
After completing the game, I have watched a few of the special features and I am ready to play again! The story and game remained strong all the way to the finish and I ended up with a thrilling experience.
