I played this game a year ago and revisited it again recently. Both times I was unimpressed.
This game offers neither the inspired game play found in Wii Sports, nor the games that I want to play with my friends many times over. Instead, the games in Wii Play are more like the fat that was trimmed from Wii Sports before its release.
The one saving grace is that the game was cheap and packed in with a Wiimote, which I needed at the time anyway. As a result, it offers an inexpensive distraction between rounds of Wii tennis or golf.
