The combat is improving. The story is still interesting. The egregious bugs are unforgivable.

Psi-powers, like Force powers, make combat more fun. They also compensate somewhat for the pathetic targeting system. I can hurl enemies across the battlefield. I can destroy foes with baddie-seeking ice shards. After training up each of the powers a few levels, they become very effective, powerful, and entertaining.

The story continued to hold my interest until the end. I was a bit surprised by the closing twist and very annoyed by the crappy cliffhanger ending. One of the characters is voiced by the same guy that voiced Raziel from the Legacy of Kain series. I like the performance he delivers.

The final boss fight occurs after the credits. It amounts to a Zelda-like "bat the energy ball back and forth" fight, which is OK, but not very inventive.

There is one huge elevator bug that prevents all forward progress through the game. I restarted the level twice before consulting the Internet. Thankfully, I found a workaround and completed the game. That has to be the worst bug imaginable for a released title.

Despite the low score and numerous complaints, if a sequel were released to continue the story, I would play it.
