Take two parts GTA 3, mix in one part Twisted Metal, add floaty physics and terrible handling and you get Road Kill.

You drive around in this game just like GTA 3. But you do not interact with anyone except to shoot them. You never get out of your car. You cannot, AFAIK, change the radio station from classic rock.

You start out as the new guy, doing odd criminal jobs for a boss. Stop me if you've heard this before. You rise through the ranks and become more notorious and take on more deadly Fed Ex missions.

I never got past a mission where I was supposed to chase a truck and pick up the cargo it dropped. Follow-the-leader on a fixed path. Fun times. I got bored and quit. I unlocked a few vehicles by completing some jumps and picking up the unlock pieces, but every one of them was so amazingly identical in stats that it seemed pointless.

Maybe this game was interesting when it came out, but I find that hard to believe. It arrived two years after GTA 3, but with worse graphics, dumbed down gameplay, and bad handling.

I was going to give this game a 3, but I looked at the last few games that got 3's and realized that at least I played those to the end and found some enjoyable aspects to them. Not the case here.
