Boom Blox is a good party game, but offers very little as a single-player experience.

As a party game, Boom Blox has plenty to keep you and your friends entertained. I enjoyed the different game types, especially the Jenga game.

As a single-player experience, however, this game comes up short. I played through the tutorial levels, the explore levels, and started working through the campaign/story levels. Each play session would end with me feeling bored and/or frustrated after only an hour or so. The best example is one of the timed puzzles. The goal is to remove blocks in the right order so that a gorilla can cross the bridge to the finish point. The game allows you to look around the puzzle before starting. Unfortunately, the dialog box telling you to press OK to start is placed right in front of the puzzle. You cannot see anything behind it! It is impossible to look around before starting the clock.
