At first glance, the idea of a Metal Gear game mixed with a card battling system sounds completely random and a bit crazy, but after 1-2 hours of playtime, it really starts to grow on you. Admittedly this is a complex game that requires multiple plays to finally get a grasp on all of the game mechanics, but once you get those down, it's an incredibly fun game. Being a portable title, it's easy (with the help of the sleep switch on the PSP) to stop and start gaming without any problems. You can even save the game mid-level and drop back to the menu if you want to swap titles, and then reload right back into where you left off when you return. the only problems i've encountered with the game and it's design would have to be the controls (it's japanese style, so circle is the button of choice, not x), some of the menus do get a bit cluttered, and the story is as complex and absurd as ever.
