Tomb Raider is back, and finally in the hands of a competent development team. I'll admit I'm not the biggest Lara Croft fan, but this is a decent action title, from the production values to the controls to the gameplay, it's all pretty solid. My only real complaints about the game stem from the platforming sections of the game, where TR tries desperately to emulate the Prince of Persia sections and just don't get it quite as smooth. The story is a bit on the corny side, but the game does the best with what it's given. Definitely worth checking out.
